AWARD

I'm up for that neat award again...best cartoonist in Ontario. It'd be great to win, but just making the top three is great and i am humbled. Once again they want my pic, so I'm sending them this. it seemed fitting....and was done near Valentine's day.

SECOND

I'm sure everyone is patiently waiting for the results of the ONCA newspaper awards........I came second. The competition was tough to beat, so I'm not surprised at the standing. Michael DeAdder is syndicated and very, very talented. He placed first. I was lucky to beat out Walt Radda for second, who has been around for awhile and is also a very talented man. All in all I'm satisfied with the results...not bad for a return to this business after 30 years out of the game.

SELF PORTRAIT

I haven't posted here for a lonnnnnng time as I've been as I've been cartooning and working and shit like that. That being said, I'm up for an award for best cartoonist in Ontario Canada. I'm "humbled" by that as my competition is very,very talented. So far I've made the top three, and will get a plaque or something for my efforts. Make no mistake, I have no illusions that I am the best, it's just someones perception of a piece I did for the Cambridge Times. I was supposed to send them a pic of myself for publication or advertising or something, but got a bit carried away with it and did a self portrait....which I've never done before..... and this would be it. SOMETHING NEW

Been doing some new stuff for publication.....normally they're in black and white, but i coloured this one. It's mostly local to my area, so if you don't get it that's cool. Getting used to saving for print and the tools involved in making it look its' best in print format. Just wanting to post something....I'm still here.

POPES BENEDICT

As I hadn't posted anything in a while, and giving the current circumstances, thought I'd put this up. This guy has creeped me out since day one and I'm not surprised at the controversy of late. I'm not a big fan of organized religion, not a fan at all......maybe disorganized religion......This whole group, and the Catholic church, is so totally flawed I wouldn't know where to start my critique, so i won't. The piece is ancient, and seriously flawed in it's production, but it occurred to me that it was sort of current, so here it is.

Working on some logos for the Phuqukawewee Nation. Haven't had much time, but have done several, of which I fear none will fly. Of all of them, this is my favourite. It needs some colour changes, but we'll wait for the client's input on that.
